The Girl

As I'm sure you know by now, my name is Alana. It's pronounced like Alaina, but spelled without the 'i'. I am 25 years old and in college to get a Business degree. I'm very childish at heart. So childish, in fact, that I have a favorite stuffed animal I sleep with at night. And my boyfriend can please me with a trip to Build-a-Bear. I am a major cat lady. I love all cats and everything about them. You could also say I'm not one for dogs, especially if they jump on me, slobber on me, or bark at me.

I collect Asian Ball Jointed Dolls. They are a huge part of me and help bring my imagination to life. My collection has grown majorly since I found the hobby and the wishlist seems to grow every day. I am also a big fan of several 'fandoms' such as Supernatural, Harry Potter, and anything Anne Rice related. Interview With the Vampire is the book that actually got me to start writing when I was younger. My dream is to, hopefully, be at least a quarter of an amazing writer as Anne Rice. 

The love of my life has claimed me in an eternal relationship. We met one day at Zydeco, during a Battle of the Bands. I had went just to see a friend's band perform and afterwards I was drunk, sitting on the front steps with a cigarette in my hand with my friends and a tall ginger guy gave me a sticker for his band. Very romantic, isn't it? We actually talked on Facebook for a few weeks before properly meeting each other in person and the rest is history. We've been together since September 24, 2011 ♥.

Like I've said, I don't think I'm all that interesting. But does anyone ever think they are interesting?
