So my boyfriend sent me an invitation, through text of course, to accompany him to the Lestat Coronation Ball this year in New Orleans. It's an annual ball hosted by the Anne Rice Vampire Lestat Fan Club every year around Halloween. I've always wanted to go and, of course, New Orleans is such a wonderful place, so I am ecstatic to be going back. And it's rumored Anne Rice will be there again this year since her new book, Prince Lestat, will be launching around then. I might get to meet my long time idol. #majorfangirl
Of course the tickets and stuff haven't went on sale or anything yet. So we have a lot of time to plan and stuff. I'm kind of wanting to take a doll with me, so that I can take some photos here and there while in New Orleans. But again this isn't until October, and it's only April. I need to find a dress to wear to such a lovely occasion. Maybe I can try to fit into one of my old prom dresses. Do I even still have my old prom dresses?
In other news, my best friend turned 14 today. That's a total of 80 years old in cat years. Happy Birthday, Gus. :)
